Heat won the toss and opted to bowl first. In reply, Heat started their chase strongly, with opener Usman Khawaja scoring 59 runs from 47 balls, including 8 fours and a six. Josh Brown also contributed with 39 runs from 27 balls, hitting 1 four and 4 sixes. Matt Renshaw finished the game with an unbeaten 27 runs from 13 balls, including 2 sixes and a four. The Heat reached the target with 7 wickets in hand and 18.5 overs to spare.

Heat will now face Sydney Sixers for a spot in the final besides Perth Scorchers.
